Backpacks of Hope is an event that we hold once a year for school children starting a new school year.
We provide this event for all Santa Rosa County residents that have a child enrolled in grades Kindergarten through High School. Each child will need to be present to receive a backpack full of school supplies, a pair of new shoes, a hygiene bag full of toiletry items, and even a new haircut if desired!
*Each parent or guardian must bring an ID with proof of SRC residency and proof that the child is enrolled in school. Proof for school can be a report card, school registration, teacher/class assignment, etc. Your child's school may be able to provide you with one of these.
Children must be at least 5 years old by Sept 1st to qualify for this event.
