Dr. Virginia Brennan
Virginia grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas. There she earned her bachelor's degree at Arkansas State University. While there, she served as president of the Baptist
Collegiate Ministry. She went on to earn a Master of Arts in Christian Education from
Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, Tennessee. While living in
Memphis, she served vocationally in children’s ministry at two area churches.
She then earned a Doctor of Education from Southeastern Baptist Theological
Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Her dissertation focused on child
development, specifically in the area of biblical worldview development. She has also
served as an instructor of Christian Education in two different college settings. She has
worked in higher education administration, but her passion is for children and families.
Virginia is married to Matt, a fourth grade teacher at L.E.A.D. Academy. Virginia has a
heart for missions and has been on multiple international mission trips to Germany,
Switzerland, Romania, South Sudan, and Canada. She enjoys reading, spending time
in the mountains, and visiting family.
