First Responders Outreach

Nepal International Mission Trip

 

Join us as we begin laying the foundation for a missionary trip to Nepal. This mission will be July 22-30, and there is much to be done now. Prayer will be a major focus during this 8 week session. We will also share practical logistics and become acquainted with Compassion Kits through the For All Mankind Movement. Please come!

Women’s Prayer Group


This a group of women who believe in the power of prayer and in supporting IBC through prayer. They pray for God’s protection and provision for all things IBC; such as the spiritual growth of the church, the pastors, leaders, ministries, families, and all age groups from babies to senior adults. They also pray for the community and the nation.

Women’s Book Club

Ladies of all ages are welcome to attend our monthly book club! We meet at various ladies?homes, restaurants or the church. All books are spiritually based and are facilitated in an open discussion setting. This is a great opportunity to meet other ladies and enjoy a time of fellowship, fun and prayer.

We do ask that you secure your own copy of each book in the format of your choosing. Examples are: Kindle, e-book, public library, audible or purchased copy.

Pastor’s Bible Study - Revelation

 

Join Pastor Jeremy for an open discussion study on the book of Revelation. Beyond the Broken Heart: A Journey Through Grief

The death of a loved one leads to a broken heart and questions about how to deal with grief. Beyond the Broken Heart is an eight-week grief support program for anyone grieving the loss of a loved one. Personal experience and Scripture are used as guidance for this study. Facilitator Greg Nowell is a Southern Baptist endorsed pastor who serves as a hospital chaplain.

This 12-week training series will help us to build, expand, and maintain a healthy Sunday School ministry by training committed members in the skills required to grow our Sunday School, bring vibrancy to our church, and impact our community. We will cover topics ranging from leadership, vision, and teaching, to evangelism, care, and the structuring of this vital component of our healthy church.

Celebrate Recovery


Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain, or addiction of any kind. This curriculum helps people move beyond hurts, habits, and hang-ups to experience the forgiveness of God. Pastor John Baker walks through the eight recovery principles, drawn from Christ’s Words in the Beatitudes, upon which this 12-step Celebrate Recovery program is built.

Sacred Marriage

A Christian view on Disability provides you with a roadmap to an effective and inspiring disability ministry. Caribbean Missions

Join us for an international mission trip to the Caribbean. This Connection Group will help prepare us to visit either Cuba or the Virgin Islands. We will be working with the International Mission Board to bring the gospel to this area. This team will meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm and will be led by experienced missionaries Dan and Mary Ellen Johnson.

Sewing Seeds II

 

The primary purpose of this group is to construct small quilts for those in need. Participants will be taught to sew and quilt, as needed. A sewing machine is not required as there are a few machines available for use during class. If you have a sewing machine, we ask you to bring it to the sessions along with any sewing notions and any cotton fabric or batting you'd like to donate. Each session begins with a short devotion and prayer.
