U.S.S. Alabama: Father/Son Overnight Trip

This is a Father/Son event. We will board the ship on Friday evening, November 3rd. We will have some food, fun and a short message. On Saturday, November 4th, we will spend more time on the ship and exploring the exhibits at the park.

- Cost is $20 per person. Min age 6yrs old (Ship Policy)

- Maximum number participants allowed is 100

- Reservation payment due by Sep 25th

Items to bring:

- Everyone must sign a release wavier.

- No real or toy guns of any sort allowed on-board

- Individual coolers allowed (no alcoholic drinks allowed)

- Church will supply cooler with bottle water.

- We will supply a cooler for drinks and order pizza for supper.

- Everyone must bring a twin sheet, pillow, blanket (sleeping bag), towels,

washcloth, soap, and toiletries.

Transportation:

- Car pool from the church. Leaving at 3:30

- Board ship at 5pm. Anyone wanting to meet us at the USS Alabama should

be there at 4:45 to check in with the group.

Agenda

Friday night

- Eat between 6-6:30pm

- Scavenger Hunt around 7pm – 8:30 pm

- 9pm Devotion – Bro Mark

- 9:30 shower and prepare for bed

- 10pm Lights out

Saturday

- 6:30 Rise and shine!

- Unboard ship at 8am. Some want to stay and explore the park

- Car pool leaves at 8:05 and will stop at Cracker Barrell (Exit 38) 1-10 & Hwy

181 for breakfast. Everyone pays for their own meal.

- Some may opt to continue driving back home.
